Meeting for final crit
Today group 1 had Konrad, Mounia, Kemi and Mayuko.
Group leader Mark could not make it because of heavy snow and his illness.
For our final crit, we decided to making following items:
-1:2000 physical model. It is 3D plan. Need to show details. We are going to make a model for each area, and puzzle them into one a big model through a main river, "river Lea".
-Master plan byMounia
-Habitat plan by Konrad
-Map for accessibility by Mark
-Scenery plan by Mayuko
-Cross section by Kemi
We got some ideas for our spectacle:
- we could choose music: 'age of aquarious' from hair musical
- we could use confetti pop-outs to add more spectacular effect
- as water bearers we could 'spill' the river
- then each one of us would plant a seed of change and say few words about the seed
.

Re-Crit
Today, group 1 had Mark, Mounia, Kemi and Mayuko.
Konrad was absent because of his illness.
We had got students from Germany in our class today, showed them and Benz our new story board added following information:
-Less keys on the overview map. Need improve overview/concept map.
-The overview plan looks old fashion.
-Need more people for the photo-montage of green industry. the one which shows urban agriculture.
-Consider large warehouse and sheds for constructing film sets. And they must look nice.
-Visual and physical access have to be shown clearer somehow.
-Habitat plan have to be more sensitive. The marshland doesn't look marshland, Reed area doesn't look Reed area on the plan.
-Master plan need developing. It looks land-use map at the moment.
-Need to show details of each site larger scale as scenery plan

Crit
Group 1 prepared an over-view plan and photomontages showing what is going to change in this site. Also we made physical models for each sites including Art area, Green industry area, Community area and Film & Media area.
However, despite of many photomontages and models, our presentation didn't show the story of our project very much. Tutors told us " It might be hard to understand if I hadn't seen the process of your work."
After crit we discussed that we are going to forcus on the story first and develop our photomontages and models.
Anyway, the physical models are good start!
